Commonly Asked Questions
Q: Do I have to take my car where my insurance company tells me to?
A: No. You have a choice. You may take your car to any licensed auto body repair facility that you choose.
Q: If the repairs are more than the original estimate from the insurance company, what happens?
A: There is something called a supplement that occurs on many repair jobs. These are repairs for additional parts and labor for damage not listed on the original estimate. The auto body facility will contact the insurance company to alert them of these additional costs and an agreement will be reached between the facility and the insurance company.
Q: If I get into an accident, will OEM (original equipment manufacturer) parts be used on my vehicle?
A: Yes, as long as your insurance company allows for them. However, many insurance policies will only allow for used or aftermarket parts. It’s always a good idea to read your policy to see what it covers.
Q: Do you have a rental car for me while my car is being repaired?
A: We have a working relationship with Enterprise in Scotch Plains, NJ ( 908-322-9494). We will assist you in arranging for a rental car.
Q: Do you work with my insurance company?
A: Yes, we do and have worked with most insurance companies.
